TROY — In a game moved from Sidney to Troy, the Troy softball team cruised to a 15-4 win over Sidney Tuesday.

Abigail Welbaum was 3-for-3 with a double and two RBIs and Ashley Kloeker was 2-for-4 with two doubles.

Brianna Lavender was 4-for-4 with a double and Allyson Burns had two RBIs.

Lilly James was 2-for-3 with a double and Hallie Frigge was 3-for-3 with three RBIs.

Elise McCann, Erin Bruce and Lauren Fonner all doubled.

Lilly James pitched a four-hitter, striking out eight and walking three.

Piqua 18,

Stebbins 4

PIQUA — The Piqua softball team cruised to a MVL win at home Tuesday.

Reagan Toopes was 2-for-4 with a double, home run and two RBIs.

Kenzi Anderson was 2-for-3 and Emily Kizer had a double and two RBIs.

Caylee Roe was 3-for-3 with a double and two RBIs and Brielle Penley drove in two runs.

Julia Coppess and Olivia Anthony combined on a six-hitter, striking out three and walking three.

TIPP CITY — The Tippecanoe softball team lost a slugfest in MVL action.

Ashley Aselage was 2-for-3 with a triple and Charli Clausen was 3-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs.

Emma Davis was 2-for-3 with a triple and two RBIs and Kyla Fry was 3-for-4 with a triple and four RBIs.

Anna Quinn had a triple and two RBIs.

Ella Henn, Emily Miller and Quinn combined to strikeout two and walk four.

Miami East 23,

Northridge 0

DAYTON — The Miami East softball team cruised to a win in TRC action.

Kayly Fetters was 2-for-5 with three RBIs and Reagan Howell had a double and two RBIs.

Abigail Kadel was 3-for-4 with a double and three RBIs and Kyleigh Kirby was 3-for-5 with three RBIs.

Kalli Teeters was 3-for-4 with two doubles and five RBIs.

Kyleigh Kirby and Jacqueline Kadel combined on a one-hitter, with 10 strikeouts and three walks.

Bethel 6,

Riverside 4

BRANDT — The Bethel softball team picked up a win in TRC action.

Alyson Bird was 2-for-3 with two doubles and four RBIs and Morgan Rodgers had two RBIs.

Bird pitched a six-hitter with seven strikeouts and one walk.

Milton-Union 7,

Lehman 2

WEST MILTON — The Milton-Union softball team won in TRC action.

Miley Heffelfinger was 2-for-3 with a double for Lehman.

Annie Stiver was 2-for-3 and Heidi Toner was 2-for-4 with a double.

Stiver pitched a five-hitter, striking out five and walking six.

Fort Loramie 13,

Covington 3

COVINGTON — The Covington softball team lost a non-conference game Tuesday.

Nigella Reck was 2-for-3 with two RBIs.

Taylor Kirker and Karyanne Turner both doubled.

Meg Rogers and Reck combined to strikeout six and walk seven.

Newton 7,

FM 1

PITSBURG — The Newton softball team got a road win over Franklin Monroe in WOAC action.

Laci Miller pitched a five-hitter, with five strikeouts.

She helped herself at the plate by going 3-for-3 with two doubles and two RBIs.

Sienna Montgomery was 3-for-3.

Cori Haines had a triple and Camryn Gleason had a double.
