FAIRBORN — The Troy boys basketball team rallied in the fourth quarter Saturday night against Fairborn to get back on track.

Troy, 8-9 overall and 8-6 in the MVL, trailed 33-32 in the fourth quarter before winning 53-48.

Noah Davis led Troy with 19 points.

Isaac Phillips scored 18 points and had seven rebounds and Zach King added eight points, 10 rebounds and blocked two shots.

Evan Kaiser grabbed 11 rebounds and Kellen Miller blocked four shots.

Piqua 51,

W. Carrollton 47

WEST CARROLLTON — The Piqua boys basketball team completed a weekend sweep of West Carrollton on the road.

Piqua, 9-7 overall and 8-4 in the MVL, led 11-4 after one quarter, but trailed 20-18 at halftime.

The Indians took a 36-32 lead after three quarters and held on for the win.

Tippecanoe 57

MIAMISBURG — The Tippecanoe boys basketball team began its NBA part of the schedule with a road loss.

The Red Devils, 10-3, will play 10 games in 17 days to complete the regular season.

Gavin Garlitz had 25 points, seven rebounds and three steals and Griffin Caldwell added 11 points.

Cole Coopock had six rebounds, Stanley Clyne had four assists and Maddox Sivon had three steals.

TROY — The Troy Christian boys basketball team bounced back Saturday with a 74-44 win over Emmanuel Christian in non-conference action.

Lucas Day had 19 points for Troy Christian, 14-4.

Frank Rupnik had 11 points and and Parker Penrod had 10 points and five assists.

Connor Frye had nine points and five rebounds, Ben Major had eight points and three steals and Alex Free added six points, six rebounds, five assists and four steals.

Isaiah Martin pulled down five rebounds.

ARCANUM — The Milton-Union boys basketball team improved to 15-4 with a non-conference road win Saturday night.

Connor Yates had 14 points, seven rebounds and two blocked shots and Blake Brumbaugh added 14 points and five rebounds.

Carson Brown had nine points and Cooper Brown grabbed five rebounds.

Miami East 49

CASSTOWN — The Miami East boys basketball team dropped to 10-6 with a home loss Saturday night.

Jacob Roeth had 20 points and seven rebounds and Wes Enis had 19 points and nine rebounds.

Bryce Haught and Camren Monnin both pulled down five rebounds.

LEWISBURG — The Covington boys basketball team improved to 5-13 with a road non-conference win.

Carter Maxson led the Buccs with 22 points.

Owen Boehringer scored 20 and Britton Miller added nine points.

BRANDT — The Bethel boys basketball team dropped to 8-10 overall with a 77-64 with a home loss Saturday in non-conference action.

Bethel led 18-17 after one quarter and 36-35 at halftime.

Indian Lake took a 55-50 lead after three quarters.

SIDNEY — The Newton boys basketball team pulled away in the fourth quarter for a road non-conference win Saturday.

The game was tied at 33 going to the fourth quarter, before Newton out scored the Jets 24-6.

Chandler Peters led the Indians with 23 points and four assists.

Harold Oburn had 14 points, 10 rebounds and eight blocked shots, Clark Yoder had 10 points and four steals and Quentin Smith had seven points.

W. Carrollton 50

PIQUA — The Piqua boys basketball team got the first of two wins over West Carrollton Friday night at Garbry Gymnasium.

Dre’Sean Roberts had 17 points, nine rebounds and three steals and Josh Crusey had 16 points.

Bryson Roberts had 15 points, nine rebounds and four assists and Colton Beougher pulled down 10 rebounds.

TROY — The Miami East boys basketball team tightened the TRC race with a road win at Troy Christian.

Jacob Roeth had 21 points, five rebounds, six assists and three steals for the Vikings, while Connor Apple had 18 points and five assists.

Camren Monnin added 14 points and three steals and Wes Enis had five rebounds and five assists.

Mitchel Kemp had 10 rebounds.

For Troy Christian, Chase Dohme had 14 points and six assists.

Parker Penrod had 10 points and Christian Brusman had eight points and three steals.

Connor Fry scored six points and Alex Free had six rebounds.

Milton-Union 70,

Covington 55

COVINGTON — Blake Brumbaugh scored 32 points in the Bulldogs win in TRC action.

Cooper Brown added 13 points, 10 rebounds five assists and four steals and Connor Yates and Landon Bechtel each scored six points.

Carter Maxson scored 16 points for Covington and Owen Boehringer scored 13 points.

DEGRAFF — The Lehman Catholic boys cruised to a TRC win Friday night.

Donovan O’Leary had 13 points and five assists for Lehman Catholic.

Justin Chapman had 10 points and nine rebounds and Michael McFarland had eight points and five rebounds.

BRANDT— The Bethel boys basketball team dropped a home game in TRC action Friday night.

The game was tied 18-18 after one quarter.

Northridge led 34-30 and 46-40 after three quarters.

PLEASANT HILL — The Newton boys basketball team rolled to a WOAC victory Friday night.

Harold Oburn had 17 points, nine rebounds and three steals and Chandler Peters had 15 points, six rebounds, four assists and three steals.

Clark Yoder had 12 points, Quinn Peters had nine points and seven rebounds and Hudson Montgomery had seven points, five rebounds and five assists.

Quentin Smith pulled down five rebounds.

BRADFORD — The Bradford boys basketball team rallied in the second half for a WOAC win.

Dixie led 12-11, 27-19 and 44-41 at the quarter breaks before Bradford rallied in the final eight minutes.

Hudson Hill led Bradford with 27 points.

Landon Monnin scored 10 points and Landon Wills had nine points and 13 rebounds.

Owen Canan had eight points, five rebounds and six steals and Zage Harleman had six rebounds.
