Fire departments from Miami , Champaign, and Clark County spent the morning doing training inside the structure, giving valuable hands-on experience for new firefighters, before setting fire to the building later in the day. A new home is set to be built on the site as soon as the debris is cleared from the training session.
Miami County YMCA offering activities for seniors
PIQUA — The Miami County YMCA – Activity Center offers Bingo, crafts, and playing cards for local seniors. For the month of April, these activities are open to the community. Local senior citizens are invited to come out to play Bingo, win prizes, talk, and laugh with friends. It is also a great opportunity to meet new friends, and during crafts, you can learn something new and teach the group something new.
