TROY — Residents are reminded that the Dye Mill Road Compost Facility’s last day of operations for 2023 will be Saturday, Nov. 25. It will reopen in spring of 2024. Please note that the facility will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday, Nov. 23.

Cotner-Hayner Annex offers free meeting space for youth activities

TROY — The Friends of the Hayner organization is pleased to announce the opening of the Cotner-Hayner Annex. This space was purchased for the benefit of the Troy-Hayner Cultural Center and is available at no cost to Troy’s non-profit and community groups. It is located behind the Hayner at 22 North Short Street. There are two large rooms that have been renovated especially for community youth groups to meet. In addition, there is a nice room for more formal business meetings with a large table and coffee station.

TROY — In an on-going effort to keep downtown Troy businesses, residents and visitors informed as to the latest status of the West Main Street closure, the city of Troy is providing a weekly update each Wednesday until the Cherry Street to Plum Street block reopened to vehicles.
