TROY — The city of Troy welcomed Austin Gibson as Troy’s newest police officer, when he was sworn-in during a ceremony held on Thursday, Feb. 16.

Gibson graduated from Graham High School in 2019, and went on to earn his degree and Peace Officer Academy training at Clark State. Gibson is a Troy native and is engaged to Hannah Johnson and father to daughter Lola.

Gibson will undergo field officer training beginning this week.
