PIQUA — Barbara J. (Sphar) Meyer married Richard N. Meyer on March 31, 1951, at Holy Angels Church in Sidney.

The couple resides in Piqua.

Richard retired in 1993 after 42 years of service at Associated Truck Lines.

Barbara was a homemaker.

They have two daughters, Vicki Anderson and Kim Fowler, both of Piqua. They have two grandsons, three great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Richard and Barbara enjoyed square dancing for many years.
