Volunteers from the Troy Noon Optimist Club pick up flags on Tuesday from yards around Troy. The Kiwanis placed around 1,400 U.S. Flags for their Avenue of Flags project this season. The flags were placed just before Memorial Day and left in place for both Flag Day and Independence Day.
