TROY — Doug Christian, former county engineer, and local historian, will share a spin-off of his well-known presentation, “Forgotten Communities,” on Tuesday, Feb. 27, at 6 p.m. at the Troy-Miami County Public Library.

Christian will delve into and highlight historically Black Miami County settlements that have been forgotten or misplaced over time. Some of these communities, such as Rossville and Hanktown, became home to the Randolph Freed People.

The Troy-Miami County Public Library is located at 419 W. Main St. in Troy. For more information, call the library at 937-339-0502 or visit their website, www.tmcpl.org.
