Dec. 23

HIT SKIP: A hit skip accident was reported on the 200 block of South Union Street. It took place sometime between 9:30 p.m. on Dec. 22 and 9:17 a.m. on Dec. 23.

DRUG OFFENSE: An officer was dispatched to Budget Inn, 1330 Archer Dr., in reference to a property complaint at 11 a.m. Suspected drugs were located and seized. Owner was identified and charged. Norita L. Wriston, 53, of Sidney, was charged with fifth-degree felony possession of methamphetamine and fourth-degree misdemeanor drug paraphernalia in connection with this incident.

HIT SKIP: A hit skip accident was reported at 12:40 p.m. at the Troy Public Square fountain.

ACCIDENT: An accident with no injuries was reported at 1:19 p.m. on the overpass on West Market Street.

ACCIDENT: A private property accident was reported at 2:15 p.m. at or near Fazolis, 1887 W. Main St.

TRAFFIC STOP: A traffic stop was made on a vehicle with an occupant showing a warrant at 3:50 p.m. on the 100 block of South State Route 202. Warrant was confirmed, and female was incarcerated on warrant.

Dec. 24

FOUND: An officer was dispatched to an abandoned bicycle on North Dorset Road at 9:11 a.m. Bicycle was secured and transported to the Troy Police Department.

OVI: An officer was dispatched to Lowes for a report of a male who was passed out in his motor vehicle and the male had just thrown out a can of liquor at 12:19 p.m. Upon arrival, a male was arrested for OVI, and a report was taken. Mark A. Wyen, 42, of Tipp City, was charged with first-degree misdemeanor OVI, minor misdemeanor open container, and first-degree misdemeanor driving under OVI suspension in connection with this incident.

THEFT: Report taken for a package taken off a porch on the 500 block of South Market Street between 3:330 p.m. and 3:48 p.m. Video doorbell showed juvenile stealing package. Investigation continues.

ACCIDENT: An officer responded to CVS, located at 804 W. Main St., in reference to a private property accident at 5:25 p.m. This incident was documented for information purposes. Case closed.

Dec. 25

SEX OFFENSE: At approximately 1:19 p.m., an officer was dispatched to Troy Kettering Hospital in reference to a sex offense. Report was taken.

DISPUTE: At 11:45 p.m., while on patrol, an officer was approached by a female requesting a peace officer to respond to her address on the 800 block of Gearhardt Drive. An adult male was identified at the residence and arrested on an active warrant through the state of Texas for illegal dumping. Report taken.

Dec. 26

ACCIDENT: A private property accident was reported at or near Cold Stone Creamery, 1187 Experiment Farm Rd., at 9:51 a.m.

ACCIDENT: An accident with no injuries was reported on the 2300 block of West Market Street at 12:42 p.m.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE: A criminal damage report was taken at 1:46 p.m. at the Heather Green West Apartments.

ACCIDENT: A private property accident was reported at 5:21 p.m. at Walmart. Two vehicles were backing out of parking spots and hit each other.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE: An officer was dispatched to the 100 block of Harrison Street for a criminal damaging complaint. Information obtained, and a report was completed. The damage took place sometime between 5 p.m. and 10:20 p.m.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Troy units responded to the 1400 block of Michael Drive in reference to a disturbance at 10:35 p.m. Two males were charged with disorderly conduct. Cody T. Teegarden, 23, of Troy, and Todd M. Black, 28, of Troy, were cited with minor misdemeanor disorderly conduct in connection with this incident.

Dec. 27

SUSPICIOUS: Troy units located a vehicle from a BOLO (be on the lookout for) on the 1400 block of West Main Street at 12:50 a.m. A male was arrested and incarcerated on previous charges. Dane G. Nicholas, 22, address unknown, was picked up for fifth-degree misdemeanor possession of drugs in connection with this incident.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE: Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Trade Square East on a criminal damaging complaint at 4 a.m. Investigation is pending.
