TIPP CITY — Matt Salmon kept the Greenville baseball team off the board Wednesday as the Tippecanoe baseball team rolled to a 10-0 win in five innings in MVL action.

Salmon pitched a two-hitter, striking out nine.

Josh Dietz was 2-for-2 with a double and three RBIs at the plate.

Tyler Minnich had a double and two RBIs and Braydon Bottles was 2-for-3.

Riverside 0

TROY — The Troy Christian baseball team remaining unbeaten in TRC play with a home win Wednesday.

Lucas Day pitched a two-hitter, striking out 14.

He helped himself at the plate with a double and two RBIs.

Gavin Blore was 2-for-4 and Connor Frye was 2-for-3 with two RBIs.

Ben Major was 2-for-2 and Camden Koukol was 2-for-4.

Lehman 6,

Norhridge 4

SIDNEY — The Lehman Catholic baseball team knocked off Northridge, giving Troy Christian a two-game lead in the TRC.

David Brunner and Seth Knapke both had two RBIs for Lehman.

Knapke, Seth Kennedy and David Rossman combined on a six-hitter, striking out six and walking four.

Newton 14,

Tri-Village 5

NEW MADISON — The Newton baseball team improved to 9-0 overall and 6-0 in the WOAC with a road win Wednesday.

Colin Tackett and Lane Bayer combined on a five-hitter, striking out 13 and walking one.

Bayer was 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs and Tackett was 2-for-4 with two RBIs.

Jyler VanCulin was 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs and Max Blair had two RBIs.
