TROY — The Troy boys hockey team completed a 3-0 weekend with a 13-0 win over Worthington Kilbourne at Hobart Arena Sunday.

Brady Smith had four goals for the Trojans.

Cooper Sextron had three goals.

Mason Weaver and Eli Wenning had two goals and Simon Latif had the shutout with 23 saves.

On Saturday, Troy defeated Toledo Whitmer 9-2 and Olentangy Orange 5-1.

Tipp wins

at Brookville

BROOKVILLE — The Tippecanoe boys wrestling team won the Brookville Invitational, while Troy finished fourth and Milton-Union finished 11th.

TIPPECANOE

Winning for Tippecanoe were Raiden Nicholls (132) and Riley Nicholls (157).

Riley Nicholls was 5-0, pinning all five opponents and Raiden Nicholls 5-0 with two tech falls and a major decision.

Taking second was Collin Isaac (150), who went 4-1 with three pins.

Finishing third were Parker Stuchell (106) and Bret Ballard (165).

Stuchell was 3-1 with two pins and Ballard was 4-1 with four pins.

Trent Thompson (126), and Cal Conners (190) both finished fourth.

Thompson was 3-2 with one pin and two tech falls and Conners 3-2 with one pin.

Riley Hull (120), Kaden Price (138) and Ryan Kolb (215) all finished fifth.

Hull was 4-1 with three pins and a tech fall, Price was 4-1 with two pins and Kolb was 4-1 with four pins.

Finishing sixth was Kale Tipton (113), who was 2-3 with two pins.

TROY

T.J. Murray (120) and Griffin Shepherd (175) both won for Troy.

Murray was 5-0 with three pins, while Shepherd was 4-0 with all four wins by pin.

Taking second were Colton Trochelman (113) and Danny Murray (190).

Trochelman was 3-1 with two pins and Murray was 4-1 with three pins.

Anden Kemmer (126) finished third, going 3-2 with three pins.

Ethan Kirkpatrick (138) finished fourth, going 3-2 with three pins.

Owen Zickafoose (175) finished fifth, going 3-1 with three pins.

Taking sixth were Nathan Brewster (150) and Logan Westerfield (165).

Both wrestlers went 3-2 with three pins.

Milton-Union

The Bulldogs had two wrestlers place.

Payton Mayfield (126) won.

He went 4-0 with three pins.

Eli Deeter (285) finished fourth, going 3-2 with three pins.

Piqua sixth

at WCH tourney

WASHINGTON COURT HOUSE — The Piqua wrestling team finished sixth at the Washington Courth House bracket tournament.

Nickolai Kaye (132) and Gavin Nelson (150) both won for the Indians.

Kaye went 3-0 with one pin and one tech fall.

Nelson picked up his 100th win in the tournament, going 3-0 with a pin.

Finishing fifth were Logan Wells (120) and Alex Holt (144).

Wells was 2-2 with two pins and Holt was 2-3 with two pins.

Finishing sixth was Evan Hewitt (138).

Hewitt was 2-3 with two pins.

GIRLS

Hanrahan wins

at Newburg

CLAYTON — Tippecanoe’s Emma Hanrahan (130) won at the Scott Newburg Memorial girls wrestling tournament at Northmont Saturday.

Hanrahan dominated her weight class, going 5-0 with four tech falls.
