Operation Cover-Up coat distribution planned for Oct. 28
TROY — The Miami County Sheriff’s Office will be distributing children and adult coats at the Miami County Fairgrounds Horticulture Building on Saturday, Oct. 28 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Enter through the north gate of the fairgrounds and the building is beside the secretary’s office.

TROY — Piqua Parents as Teachers (PAT) will hold its annual quarter auction on Nov. 9, 2023, at the Knights of Columbus, located at 204 W. Ash St. in Piqua.
First Responders receive candy donation
Representatives from the Piqua Police Department and Piqua Fire Department gather on Wednesday afternoon to accept a donation of candy to be handed out during Trick-or-Treat on Thursday evening. Businesses and individuals contributing to the city departments this year include Elite Etc; Craig Flitcraft; Mike Lumpkin; Koverman, Staley, Dickerson Insurance; This and That Candy on Main; and Tom and Cindy Lillicrap.
