Osting retires following 4 decades at Kroger
Jeffrey Osting of Piqua meets co-workers at Outback Steakhouse for a retirement dinner as Osting completes 44 years of employment at Kroger. Osting worked in four different stores during his career. He has been married to his wife, Deborah, for 41 years. The couple have three grown boys and eight grandchildren.

Retired United States Air Force Officer Jack Mecham speaks to a large crowd at the Miami Valley Veterans Museum on Wednesday about his career and experiences in Vietnam where Mehcam logged more than 12,000 flight hours flying numerous aircraft. Mecham’s talk at the museum focused primarily on his time in the HH-53, commonly known as the Jolly Green Giant, where he flew a number of covert missions
