VERSAILLES — This year marks the 50th year of the Social Tent in Versailles. Established in 1974, Poultry Days was the first in the area to shut down a highway for music, dancing and fun. Today, the Social Tent is the largest tent in the county and the event continues to grow with an expanding beer garden.

TROY — The Troy-Hayner Cultural Center presents the Flower Power: Flora in Fashion exhibit curated by Gayle Strege in partnership with the Historic Costume and Textiles Collection at The Ohio State University. The exhibit opened Friday, May 24 and will be on display through June 30.

ZANESVILLE — The Ohio Forestry Association Foundation has released its Camp Canopy schedule for June 9-14, at Ohio FFA Camp Muskingum. Registration is open to students who are entering ninth grade through graduating high school seniors.

TROY — The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) has granted initial accreditation to Edison State Community College’s Emergency Medical Services–Paramedic program.

DUBLIN — U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-OH. recently spoke with manufacturing, labor, education, and community partners at the Summer Manufacturing Institute Summit, as they work to plan 2024 Summer Manufacturing Camps across the state.

VERSAILLES — Poultry Days has announced its 2024 festival theme of “Poultry of the Caribbean.”

VERSAILLES — On Thursday, Nov. 30, Versailles FFA participated in the Middle School Career Development Events at Ohio FFA Center in Columbus, with eighth grade Versailles FFA members. At the Middle School CDE Versailles FFA participated in the Ag Career Quiz Bowl and Ag Career Exploration.
