The orange barrels that had been on the roadway in the 500 block of West Main Street in Troy have been removed. Vehicles can again park out front of businesses and travel free of the orange barrels that have lined the roadway for months.

Friends of Piqua Public Library, Crooked Handle beer tasting

The Friends of the Piqua Public Library presented a program in partnership with the Crooked Handle Brewing Company on Sept. 22. Jeff Pedro and Ken Starnes from Crooked Handle Brewing Company explained the brewing process for the craft beers and their beginnings in the business. Guests were treated to simple treats along with four different unique craft brewed beers to taste. Officers conduct checks on registered sex offenders

Law enforcement officers, including the Ohio Highway State Patrol and the U.S. Marshals Service, check on sex offenders in Miami County on Tuesday, Oct. 17. The annual check is done prior to Halloween and is meant to help ensure that the more 180 registered sex offenders in Miami County are properly accounted for.
