TROY — Community members gathered to release 325 butterflies into the air in honor of loved ones at the Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County Celebrating Life’s Stories Butterfly Release on Saturday, Aug. 12, at the Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County Hospice House.

COLUMBUS – During the 2023 Labor Day holiday weekend, the Ohio State Highway Patrol saw an increase in traffic stops. A total of 17,965 traffic enforcement stops were conducted along with 9,479 non-enforcement stops.

PIQUA — The Piqua-Caldwell Historic District Association (PCHDA) will be hosting its seventh annual Fall Mum Sale on Saturday, Sept. 16, 2023, starting at 9:30 a.m. on the corner of North Downing and Ash Streets in downtown Piqua. Mums will be available in an assortment of colors for $11 each. The mums are hardy and not only provide seasonal color but if planted in the ground prior to Thanksgiving, they should come back year after year.
