TROY — What better way to celebrate Mom than a staged reading all about Motherhood and raising kids? To honor all the wonderful people raising kids in our lives, Troy Civic Theatre is presenting a special season extra this year, “Motherhood Out Loud,” a collection of short scenes and monologues.

TROY — The Troy Civic Theatre presents “Fireflies,” by Matthew Barber. Performances are scheduled for April 28-30 and May 5-7.

ST. MARYS — Edison State Community College and Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys have joined forces to offer a certification program in Phlebotomy during the summer semester, which runs June 5 through July 29.

KETTERING — After a five-month search, Kettering Health has invited Michael Gentry to lead the next chapter of the organization’s future as chief executive officer (CEO). Gentry is an accomplished and mission-driven healthcare leader with executive experience at top systems across the country. His first official day at Kettering Health will be July 3.
