TechCred application period closes July 31
COLUMBUS — Ohio Lt. Gov. Jon Husted, who serves as director of the Governor’s Office of Workforce Transformation, recently announced that over 100,000 credentials have been awarded since the start of the TechCred program.

Find unclaimed funds at state fair
COLUMBUS — The Ohio Department of Commerce Division of Unclaimed Funds is returning to the Ohio State Fair to help fairgoers search for and claim their lost or forgotten money. The 2024 Ohio State Fair will run from July 24 to Aug. 4.
Volunteers clean the Great Miami River
Hundreds of volunteers helped Clean Sweep of the Great Miami River on July 19 and 20. Over three tons of waste were collected between Sidney and Tipp City. The annual clean-up has been sponsored by the Miami County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) and local organizations since 2006.
