DAYTON — Dayton Performing Arts Alliance (DPAA) continues its celebration of the Ballet’s illustrious legacy with an 85th Diamond Anniversary repertory program. Paying homage to its founders, Miss Josephine and Miss Hermene Schwarz, the program reflects, Dayton Ballet Artistic Director Karen Russo Burke’s mission to include more female choreographers in the Ballet’s repertory.

Vance introduces legislation to address catalytic converter theft

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Senator JD Vance, R-Ohio, joined Senators Amy Klobuchar, D-Minnesota, Mike Braun, R-Indiana, and Ron Wyden, D-Oregon, in introducing the Preventing Auto Recycling Thefts (PART) Act. This bipartisan legislation would ensure new vehicles’ catalytic converters are fitted with a traceable identification number and would make the theft of catalytic converters a criminal offense. The legislation is also supported by Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost and Ohio State Representative Bob Young , who are working to address this issue at the state level.

Popular gospel group, The Isaacs, coming to Versailles

VERSAILLES — The Isaacs, a gospel, bluegrass and country music group, comes to the BMI Event Center in Versailles. The Isaacs have been performing for over 50 years and after performing as guests for 30 years, The Isaacs were officially inducted as members of the Grand Ole Opry on Sept. 14, 2021. Then, in 2020, the Isaacs were inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame.
