LCC plans Annual Jazz & Soul Food Night
TROY — February is always a special month at the Lincoln Community Center (LCC) as it celebrates Black History Month. What started as a one room schoolhouse for African American children in 1865 has now turned into a multicultural community center for all. Its rich history is something the center celebrates and honors as the LCC inspires the next generation of leaders who walk through its doors. A history timeline is proudly displayed along the wall of the new gymnasium of its facility highlighting a small portion of the history surrounding LCC.
