Hayner’s Lucky Lemonade Concert Series features The Tyler Cochran Trio

TROY — Hayner’s Lucky Lemonade Concert series honors exceptional regional musicians and current, original music. On Tuesday, July 18 the series will feature a Dayton musician and his exceptional band. Cochran’s style is, what he calls, “the soul of the blues, the mentality of jazz and the attitude of rock.” He is a skillful guitarist having had a guitar in his hands for over half his young life. Joining him for this concert is Phil Doncaster on drums and Matt Rookard on bass. The band will play some favorite covers as well as several of Tyler’s own compositions. The style is an energetic, feel-good blues rock.

Mainstreet Piqua announces July 20 Third Thursday event

PIQUA — After the weather-related cancellation of the June Third Thursday event, Mainstreet Piqua is excited to announce that its popular Third Thursday event will be happening this Thursday, July 20. This year, Third Thursdays will undergo a slight change as the event moves to the 300 and 400 blocks of N. Main Street, with activities scheduled from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The July event will feature the rescheduled nonprofit resource fair, showcasing numerous local organizations as well as a variety of activities for kids and families. The nonprofit resource fair aims to educate visitors about the wealth of relief services and resources available in the Piqua area.
