WEST MILTON — The Milton-Union girls basketball team closed the regular season with a 35-21 win over Riverside.

COVINGTON — When the Miami East girls basketball team trailed Covington 32-21 midway through the third quarter Thursday night at Covington, Viking junior Katie Paulus only had one thought.

PIQUA — Two Piqua football players made their college choices Wednesday, signing their letters of intent in front of the Piqua trophy case.

COLDWATER — Covington traveled to Coldwater to face the host Cavaliers and Milton-Union on Tuesday night and came away winners in both duals to finish the dual-meet portion of their season with a 12-4 overall record. The Buccs opened with a 70-9 victory over Milton-Union, followed by a 55-21 victory over Coldwater. Coldwater defeated Milton-Union in the other dual.

WEST CARROLLTON — The Troy bowling team survived a challenge from West Carrollton Tuesday night at Capri Lanes.

MIAMISBURG — The Tippecanoe boys basketball team improved to 18-2 with a 63-58 win over Miamisburg Tuesday night.

TROY — It was a busy morning in the Trojan Activity Center Wednesday as five Troy athletes made their college choices.

SIDNEY — It was an afternoon for celebration in the Lehman Catholic gymnasium, as five seniors made their college choices in front of the student body, cheerleaders and pep band in the Schlater Family Gymnasium.

PIQUA — The Piqua boys bowling team dropped a MVL match with Greenville 2,022-1,860 Monday.

PIQUA — The Piqua girls basketball team will close the regular season at Greenville Saturday.
