TROY — The Troy boys basketball team opened a huge lead, then held on for a 56-45 win over Xenia in MVL action Friday night at the Trojan Activity Center.

COVINGTON — The Covington girls basketball team scored the final five points to escape with a 45-43 victory over Milton-Union Thursday at Covington in TRC action.

FAIRBORN — The Piqua boys bowling team dropped to 7-6 overall and 7-6 in the MVL with a 2.354-2,087 loss at Bowl 10.

DAYTON — The Covington wrestling team competed at the Dayton Christian pools on Tuesday with each wrestler getting two matches from a variety of teams including Bellbrook, Greenon, Hamilton Badin, Madison Plains, Bethel, Shroder, Finneytown and Dayton Christian.
