WEST MILTON — The Milton-Union girls basketball team prepped for a big game with Miami East Saturday with a 64-38 win over Troy Christian Thursday night.

TIPP CITY — The Tippecanoe girls basketball team got off to a fast start in a 51-34 win over Troy in MVL action Wednesday at Pat Wampler Gymnasium.

HUBER HEIGHTS — The Troy boys bowling team defeated Tippecanoe 2,544 to 1,992 Tuesday at Roll House.

TIPP CITY — The Tippecanoe boys basketball team used a fast start to get a 66-47 win over Troy Tuesday night at Pat Wampler Gymnasium.

This weekend, the Troy High School swimming and diving team competed at the Southwest Ohio Classic. This meet is the biggest high school meet in the country, taking place over two days with over 100 teams participating across 11 preliminary sites. Troy competed at the Trotwood prelim site against MVL rivals Tipp City, Butler, Piqua, and Sidney, among others.

BEAVERCREEK — The Troy girls bowling team won the Baker Bash Monday at Beaver-Vu Lanes

MIAMISBURG — The Troy wrestling team finished fourth at the Miamisburg Invitational Saturday.

TROY — The Troy girls basketball team gave MVL leader Sidney a battle Saturday before losing 40-29 at the Trojan Activity Center.

COVINGTON - Covington High School conducted its 41st annual Athletic Hall of Fame Ceremony on Saturday. Being inducted into the Covington Athletic Hall of Fame is a prestigious honor and three individuals, plus the 2002 softball team were blessed to experience that honor during the 41st annual induction ceremony on Saturday, January 13, 2023 at Covington High School. The two individual former athletes who were inducted were 1986 graduate Ralph “Butch” Boehringer and 2013 graduate Troy Cron and another individual, 1981 graduate Dan Cain, was inducted as an honorary member. Butch Boehringer and Troy Cron compiled amazing athletic careers at Covington and left legacies of greatness for future generations to follow, while Dan Cain established himself as one of the premier coaches in Covington history. The 2002 softball team consisted of some of the best players in the history of the program and became the first softball team in Covington to reach the state final four.

TROY — The Troy boys basketball team couldn’t complete a season sweep of the series with Sidney Friday night, losing 55-44 at the Trojan Activity Center.
